SMM, December 27: Today, rare earth market prices experienced a slight correction overall. According to SMM data, the price of Pr-Nd oxide decreased to 396,000-400,000 yuan/mt, while the prices of dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide increased to 1.59-1.61 million yuan/mt and 5.57-5.59 million yuan/mt, respectively. Meanwhile, gadolinium oxide prices remained stable at 148,000-150,000 yuan/mt, and holmium oxide prices stayed at 400,000-404,000 yuan/mt.
In the metal market, the price of Pr-Nd alloy dropped to 490,000-492,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium-iron alloy prices remained stable at 1.56-1.57 million yuan/mt, and terbium metal prices held steady at 6.95-7 million yuan/mt, while gadolinium-iron prices stayed unchanged at 146,000-149,000 yuan/mt. Currently, downstream market inquiries have weakened, and purchasing activity has declined, making high-price transactions difficult. Some suppliers have started quoting at lower prices, leading to a softening trend in Pr-Nd product prices. In the short term, raw material prices are expected to fluctuate slightly.
